My story
I am World Junior Konini. I was born in Scotland in 2008, but my roots come from South Africa. I started karting at the age of 7, and from my first season, I knew I had found my calling. Since then, I have been fighting on every starting grid to achieve one goal: to become the first Black African driver in Formula 1.
I was lucky enough to be spotted at a young age, to be selected as Carlos Sainz's grid kid in 2018, and then to join the Motorsport UK academy. Each step taught me to surpass myself.
But beyond the results, I want to represent something bigger : to show that there is no color, border or limit in motorsport, and to inspire a new generation to believe in their dreams, as I believe in mine.
